Chetan Puranik, MD, is the CEO and founder of Centers for Pain Control and Vein Care, overseeing locations in Hobart, LaPorte, Merrillville, Munster and Valparaiso, Indiana. He is double-board certified in pain management and anesthesiology and brings extensive clinical expertise and leadership to the organization.
Dr. Puranik earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he also completed his residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in chronic and interventional pain medicine.
In 2009, Dr. Puranik founded Centers for Pain Control and Vein Care as an independent medical practice, beginning with a single location in LaPorte, Indiana. Recognizing that many surrounding communities were underserved in pain management and vein care, he has led the practice’s expansion by recruiting skilled partners to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients across Northwest Indiana.
