Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marian University in 2013, where she was also a four-year NAIA collegiate softball athlete. She began her career as a registered nurse in diverse hospital settings before specializing in critical care. She holds certifications in Critical Care (CCRN) through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association.
In 2020, Amy earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Indianapolis and became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Before joining Centers for Pain Control, Amy has focused her practice on interventional pain management and chronic pain treatment. She is experienced in a wide range of minimally invasive pain procedures, including joint and bursa injections, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, trigger point injections, and fluoroscopic-guided interventions. Her additional background in urgent care and nursing education, including her role as adjunct faculty at the University of St. Francis School of Nursing in Crown Point, enhances her ability to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Amy takes a multimodal approach to pain management, using thorough evaluation, evidence-based treatments, and patient education to develop individualized care plans. She is passionate about helping patients feel heard, informed, and confident in their treatment decisions while working toward improved function and quality of life.
